Infrastructure
No more excuses, we must implement the Downtown Master Parking Plan and build the required civic parking facilities. We must build the infrastructure necessary for an active and vibrant community.
Connecting our City to Neighborhoods
We must take ownership of the bayfront roads and build the appropriate and necessary pedestrian crossings. We must make it easy for everyone in and around our city to connect with our amenities.
Asset Based Community Development (ABCD)
Building neighborhorhoods from the inside out promoting citizenship as a higher ideal than being simply a "customer" of "constituent".
Restore Pride and Mutual Respect Within our City
Let's work in a respectful manner and create partnerships with city staff, consultants, advisory boards and other governments. Refocus our energies on service and community building, not control - a truly wise leader knows that all wisdom does not reside within.
Increase honesty and accountability.
Let’s bring back civility in our communication and face our issues with intellectual honesty and transparency. Let's say what we mean, and hold our leaders to account for what they say. No more revisionist history!
